Awesome Series-Difficult Subject

Theo meets Lilly in a bar and sparks ignite into flames of desire. He has to have this woman! When he tries to buy her a drink she flatly refuses him. No woman has ever turned him down. She's thrown down the gauntlet and he rises to the challenge. The only problem: Theo knows nothing about her and has no way of contacting her.
Lilly is an intern solicitor (attorney) and goes with her boss to a meeting at Ellis Corp. for an appointment with Mr. Ellis, who happens to be Theo! When they meet again the sexual tension in the air is so thick it can be cut with a knife. There begins the battle of wills. Lilly finally gives in as long as it's only sex. No dates, no relationship, no strings attached. Soon they find they can't stay apart. Lilly begins to let the walls she's built around her life down, but Theo betrays her. She no longer trusts him, but he wears her down and she decides to give him a second chance. When their relationship couldn't get any better, a part of her past rears it's ugly head, and Theo is hurt because she wouldn't trust him enough to tell him about it. Then another bomb is dropped, and Lilly can't recover from this one. Theo has destroyed her. She let him inside her walls, and he stripped her bare. There's nothing left but an empty shell.
Can Theo redeem himself and win her back, or is she lost to him forever?

Lilly is on a path of self destruction! Theo has broken her. As much as he tries to win her back, she fights him every step of the way. She refuses to let him in. She can't deal with the problems he has to face. Then, when she thinks nothing else can go wrong, her ugly past come back to haunt her. It's time for her to stop running and face her demons. The problem is, Theo is the only one that can give her the strength to face her past. She loves him, he completes her, but can she stand by him with the problems he also faces? They complete each other, but at the same time they rip each other apart. Will their love for one another be enough, or is there too much baggage between them to move on? This series just keeps getting better and better!

Lilly has decided to trust Theo with her secrets when her mother shows up on her doorstep. She realizes her life is incomplete without him and is tired of fighting it. Her past, however, is still threatening their future, and Theo tries to fix it the only way he knows how, with money. When that backfires, they risk everything on a plan that, at best, is sketchy.
As Lilly and Theo continue to work on mending their relationship, Cassie, Theo's "problem" shows up at Lilly's flat, high on drugs and psychotic. Theo commands Lilly to remain in the car, but Cassie gets away from him and drives away with Lilly. Eventually they get into a terrible wreck, leaving Lilly hanging on to life by a thread. Will Lilly and Theo ever have their HEA? Their story is a roller coaster ride of epic proportions, and LP Lovell kept me mesmerized throughout the entire series.

I knew nothing about Besieged when I started, and I'm glad for it. After only reading the first book, I already know that this is one of those series that you become easily captivated with. I loved all of the characters, even the ones I probably shouldn't.
Lilly and Theo both avoid relationships at all costs. So when Theo starts chasing Lilly, doing every thing he can to get her to sleep with him, she does her best to turn him down. He's just not that easily swayed. He's persistent, I'll give him that. Lilly eventually gives in, telling him that this is a sex only relationship, which Theo is fine with. But somewhere down the line, they both thought more could work. The only problem is that there are events from Lilly's past that keep her from willingly giving in to more. When she does finally drop her walls a smidge, someone comes in to the picture that makes her lock her walls back as high as she can. I'm glad there I already have the second book b/c the ending has me hungry to know what's next.

If Lilly and Theo have a rough road ahead of them. After having a pregnancy thrown at them out of the blue, Lilly runs. Even if it happened while they weren't together she can't be with Theo while there is a girl claiming to be pregnant with his child. It's too much.
Lilly has a lot of secrets. She holds them close. There are some that not all even her closest friends know about. They all threaten to burst free as curveball after curveball are thrown at her, slowly crumbling her strong exterior shell.
Theo just wants to love her. He'd give up life and limb to be able to. He tries to give her space until he realizes that Lilly has never been easily attained. He's had to chase her and fight for her from the very beginning. Now that he's fighting for her love, he'll just have to fight harder.
Book two in the She Who Dares series is full of angst and heartache, not just for the hero and heroine, but for everyone involved. In some way, shape, or form, everyone is touched and affected by the events that unfold. In the end, secrets are starting to unfold and the puzzle is finally starting to come together. Unfortunately, you won't be able to see the big picture until book three. In Conquered, we're left with a story that is just starting to be told. We're about to find out about the real Lilly Parker when three little words are thrown at us.... To Be Continued. You'll have to pick up book three to find out where this cliffhanger ending is going.

A lot of secrets are divulged in Surrendered. These are the kind of secrets that could make or break Lilly, secrets that she never wanted to get out. She's afraid that if Theo were to find out that it could change the way he sees her, it could all change everything.
This series is one that will immediately pull you in from the very beginning. I loved Lilly and Theo's relationship. He's the unattainable Theo Ellis. Every woman wants him and every man wants to be him. He meets his match in Lilly. He's never been turned down before her. She is feisty. She doesn't take crap from anyone. All of this only makes Theo want her more. He doesn't stop, no matter who or what is thrown in between them. He's willing to do whatever it takes to prove to her that he loves her.
While I absolutely loved book one, books two and three weren't as high on my list. They were still enjoyable, but seemed to focus more on the problems that were thrown their way. I do wish that it focused more on the relationship between the two of them and less on the ones that tried to destroy them. Either way, it's a series you can read where you don't only love the main characters, but all of the secondary characters as well. I'm excited to get some of their stories next.

Loved this series so much

There's not much I can say other than I loved this series. It was one I've had on my kindle for awhile but took forever to get around to reading and I wish I'd read it sooner. Lilly is an incredible woman. She's unbelievably strong but there were a few times when I wanted to shake her.
Theo, OMG, what can anyone say about him but he's gorgeous and I loved how determined he was to do everything he had to do to keep Lilly. He never gave up. The support characters were great too. Hugo, the best friend and sex maniac, Lilly's friends and her brother Harry. Loved them all and loved this series. Can't wait to read Hugo's book now.
This series was more than just the romance too, it was full of mystery and suspense and me biting my nails down to the bone, wondering if those two damaged people would ever get their HEA.
